Kedarnath Movie Releasing Issue of High Court Report

The High Court has passed a Public Interest Litigation filed against Kedarnath Films. A joint bench of Chief Justice Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice RC Khulbe heard the case on Thursday. Darshan Bharti, a resident of Dehradun, had filed a PIL in the High Court accusing him of molesting Hindu religious sentiments in Kedarnath film.

It was said in the petition that scenes such as bold kissing scene and love jehad were filmed in the film Kedarnath temple premises. During the hearing, the Joint Bench said that the case of the offending scene is the right of the censor board, while the peace system is the responsibility of the DMK in the government or the district. In such a situation, the government or its representative can take DM as a decision. The court has also commented that if the people want it, they will not see this film. The court said that the petition is being promoted by filing the petition.
